From Kanganpur to Fresno.
Hatti was started by Arman Sandhu — born in Kanganpur, a village of a few hundred people near Sirsa, raised in Chandigarh, back in the village every summer, winter and holiday. Two different worlds. Both home.
Chandigarh → California
At 23 he left for California. The dream was bigger than making a life in America — he wanted to look after his parents, make the people at home proud, and build something of his own.
The years after went on working, learning, failing and trying again, figuring out what that something would be. Eventually it became Hatti.
ਹੱਟੀ ਜੱਟ ਦੀ
Hatti jatt di — the farmer's shop. There is no permanent one yet, so ours travels: Fresno now, California next, a room of our own after that.
